The Lab

a Collective cohort exploring vocation, encouraging self-enterprise, promoting entrepreneurship, and (generally) investigating the integration of faith and work.

Cohort Objectives

  • explore biblical-theological integration of faith and work
  • connect all vocations to God’s global mission
  • encourage church-based, self-enterprising work
  • incubate and launch entrepreneurial ideas (i.e., non-profit, for-profit, etc.)

The Academy: An Ecclesial Theology Guild

a Collective cohort cultivating the Christian intellectual life by pursuing serious biblical-theological inquiry, engaging in deep reflective thought, and producing meaningful research.

Cohort Objectives

  • evaluate crucial issues of ecclesial theology with biblical-theological fidelity and ministry-praxis orientation
  • discover important connections across research disciplines and between various spheres of biblical-theological inquiry
  • produce original work that will serve the church and aid Great Commission work
  • foster a distinctively Christian approach to a theologically reflective life by cultivating intellectual virtues

The Symposium: A Reading Roundtable

a Collective cohort reading great books for theological dialogue, ministry development, and character formation.

Cohort Objectives

  • appraise classic writings through a biblical-theological framework
  • develop the skills of theological dialogue in community
  • mature in godly character and Christian virtue by allowing classic texts to read us
  • cultivate deep and genuine relationships through the practice of hospitable, transparent, and self-introspective transparency community conversation

The Collegium: A Ministry Institute

a Collective cohort of church leaders pursuing ministry training, leadership development, and field implementation for current and future church leaders.

Cohort Objectives

  • investigate the biblical underpinnings of Christian leadership, mission, and ministry
  • embrace a philosophy of ministry that is biblical, theological, ecclesial, and missional
  • employ biblical-ministry training in on-the-field, real-life ministry scenarios
  • collaborate with others in ministry endeavors that serve the Great Commission

The Imprint: A Resource/Publishing Collaborative

a Collective cohort designing, creating, writing, and publishing works, tools, and resources for church and mission.

Cohort Objectives

  • envision unique and original resources that are church-based, biblically faithful, mission-oriented, theologically accurate, and globally accessible
  • design resources that are unrestricted and releasable into the Creative Commons
  • create content, works, tools, and resources that are practically usable, aesthetically beautiful, and theologically faithful
  • integrate resources into developmental pathways for Christian discipleship, global mission, Christian ministry, and leadership training

Meeting Frequency

This cohort is project-based and meets on an ad hoc basis and in a variety of groups

The Commons: A Global Network

a Collective cohort of international ministry partners bearing burdens, providing encouragement, offering mentorship, sharing resources, and investing in the overall development of ministry leaders.

Cohort Objectives

  • enjoy the company of supportive ministry mentors and the encouragement of like-minded ministry leaders
  • acquire a broader view of mission and ministry from other Great Commission workers
  • explore ways for Great Commission collaboration and cooperation
  • pursue ongoing personal development and lifelong learning
